Dubbed “The White Stripes of Live Drum and Bass” this two piece are no ordinary act. Getting the crowd in a hyped up frenzy they seamlessly mix their set featuring the full range of sounds from jump-up to deep/dark d’n’b with snare cracking beats, rip raw bass and vocals to rattle anyone’s brain.
As musicians they play everything live, from the intricacies in the rhythms and bass syncopation that come with Jungle/ Drum & Bass grooves to the beautiful yet powerful vocal hooks and MC drops. Epoc Live is not just about making live dance floor tunes and getting the crowd hyped although that is their primary objective. Many of their tracks consist of lyrics that have meaning as opposed to random babble. Using vocal rhythms from the hip hop world and speed rap that you often get in drum & bass they put across a positive message whilst keeping the crowd hyped.
Epoc Live have covered many of the bases in the dance industry that a lot of live acts couldn’t manage. They have played alongside Snoop Dog, Grooverider, Andy C and Pendulum to name a few, yet are still to release their debut single. They have managed to play big events prior to any release by their exciting live show.
